Ticket Auction Manager
This is probably my flagship product that I spend most of my time on, Ticket Auction Manager. It is linked on the website below, but is something I started back in 2017, to address some shortcomings experienced when we tried to use Microsoft Excel during the annual SPCA Serving Allegany County Theme Basket Auction.
Currently the project is written in a combination of Sveltekit and Go, originally it was a Microsoft Access database. In between it was a pure Python project, then transitioned to Python on the server side, and Sveltekit compiled to NodeJS on the client side. The reason why I opted to transition it to Go with the help of a friend and Claude Code, is to make it easier to allow others to self-host their own instances of it.
I wrote this a little bit later but decided to post this on my website as well. On December 2nd, 2024; I lost my beloved Butterscotch to chronic kidney disease. She will be missed. This article is for her memory.
